"God" is the name we give to the Eternal and Infinite. The search for Him is unending. God is always close to us, though we are not always close to Him.

In this book, I have chosen what I believe are the ten most significant paths that bring us closer to God. Along the journey toward God, we often discover ourselves. Each chapter of this book serves as a starting point for personal reflection on life's most profound questions:
 
Who am I? Why am I here? What have I achieved, and what remains unfulfilled? Where have I gone wrong? How can I repair it? What is my purpose in this world? How should I live? What does it mean to be a Jewish person?
 
Even if we are granted long lives, life is short—too short. Every day matters. Any day on which we fail to perform a good deed, take a step toward God, or contribute to changing the world is a wasted day. We must not wait for God to find us; we must begin the journey, and then God will meet us halfway.”
