Dr. Shaina Trapedo is an Assistant Professor in English at Stern College, Director of the Jay and Jeanie Schottenstein Honors Program at Yeshiva College and the S. Daniel Abraham Honors Program at Stern College, and Resident Scholar at Yeshiva University’s Zahava and Moshael J. Straus Center for Torah and Western Thought. She received her bachelor’s degree from Barnard College and earned her PhD in English from the University of California, Irvine, where she specialized in early modern literature and religious studies. Her scholarship considers Shakespeare and his contemporaries' indebtedness to Judaism and its exegetical traditions.
