Professor Eliyahu Asis is the author of books on Joshua, Judges, Song of Songs, Joel, and on the relationship between Edom and Israel. A member of the Tanakh faculty at Bar-Ilan University, Professor Asis served as the dean of the Jewish Studies faculty, and the head of the Tanakh department.
